From 1896 until the most easily mined veins were depleted around 1900, the Yukon region saw a great, booming gold rush! Much like during the California rush, prospectors reserved some of their finds, and sent them home to family in the form of jewelry! While these cufflinks are more modern in design and we can't be sure where they were made, the bold gold nuggets certainly evoke the Gold Rush era!
